RB-8R-12V-5 Board

eight channels - 12 volt relay board with 5 Volt auxiliary power supply

This is a 12 Volt operated board, with a 5 Volt stabilized auxiliary power supply.

In this way a logic board can be operated even if a non stabilied power supply (such as a battery) is used as primary power supply.

Relay board features:

relay board inputs Supply voltage: 12 Volt

eight relay outpus 8 fully independent relays, capable of handling a maximum current of 10 A each

relay board inputs The board accepts inputs rangings from -24 V to + 24 V

The board has been designed keeping robustness and flexibility in mind. Connections can be made in several different ways:

relay boards marker With all inputs loops separate and independent from each other.
relay boards inputs marker With all inputs sharing a common reference.
relay boards inputs loops marker With any mix of separate loops and common reference loops.

relay board optically isolated inputs Safety is guaranteed by optically isolated inputs, providing a complete separation between inputs, outputs and the circuitry driving the relays.

unregolated power supply Power supply: the power voltage can be anywhere between 9 and 15 volt DC and does not require to be regulated, making this board ideal for battery operation. Designed to be integrated with other devices, the boards provides a 5 V regulated DC output to supply other boards (see below).

relay board inputs Stabilized power supply onboard: 5 V (200 mA) .

This makes the board an excellent solution when one needs to operate logic boards (requiring a stabilized supply) and high power relays with a unstabilized DC source as a battery.
